But are they still missing that one big time WR that can be a game changer? I know we still have Ochocinco, but I'm afraid to say he is towards the end of his career.
So does the Bengals need to draft a WR in the first round? And the answer is yes and no. New Offensive Coordinator Jay Gruden, likes to run a West coast system the pass sets up the run draws screens and utilizing the TE short slants.
So I'm not sure a what big WR like Julio Jones or A.J. Green will do in the new system. I'm sure they can be a deep threat and be dangerous in the red zone. But are they the right fight in the new system?
I say the Bengals should wait to draft a WR in second or third round.
Here are some top WR's in the 2011 NFL Draft:
A.J. Green, WR, Georgia
Julio Jones, WR, Alabama
Randall Cobb, WR/PR, Kentucky
Torrey Smith, WR/KR, Maryland
Jonathan Baldwin, WR, Pittsburgh
Leonard Hankerson, WR, Miami
Titus Young, WR, Boise State
