A.J. Green's Girlfriend Is Hot

Looks like I'm the last man on planet earth to figure out that A.J. got a hot ass girlfriend. And if you don't know who this chick is, she's an R&B signer named Miranda Brooke.

The 2012 Bengals Draft Class

Overall we can agree, the Bengals 2012 draft class was pretty solid. But before we get into the draft, I have to say what a travesty that Kellen Moore of Boise State didn't get drafted. That kid has won more games as a QB than any other QB in the history of college football.

Now lets talk about the Bengals.
There were several needs the Bengals had to address. Starting with defensive backs, offensive line, WR, and defensive line. The good thing is, the Bengals had a boat load of draft picks. And with so many draft picks available, there was no way they wouldn't address all or most of their needs.

Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, 6-2, 186, Alabama

One of the best CB's available in the draft. A position the Bengals had to fill pretty badly. With three CB's in the final year of their contract and Leon Hall coming back from a season ending injury, it was a no brainier to grab Kirkpatrick with the 17th pick. There a very good possibility that Kirkpatrick will start on September 10th vs the Baltimore Ravens.

Kevin Zeitler, OG, 6-3, 322, Wisconsin

Another need, the Bengals had to address was the O line, and that exactly what they did when they drafted Kevin Zeitler from Wisconsin. The majority of fans wanted the Bengals to grab David DeCastro out of Stanford. I'm no expert but I can't tell the difference between the two players. All I know is the any O-Linemen that comes out of Wisconsin knows how to play football. In my opinion he will be another starter on  September 10th.

Devon Still, DT, 6-5, 307, Penn State

With the third pick, I would of have probably drafted a WR. But I am no way disappointed with the pick of Devon Still, who is the 2011 Big Ten defensive player of the year. After Pat Sims went down with an injury so did the Bengals rush defense. With Sims in the lineup the Bengals game up an average of 3.4 yards per carry and without Sims the Bengals gave up around 4.8 yards per carry. With the draft pick of Still the Bengals have undeniable upgraded their D-line. If Pat Sims comes back healthy they will have a solid rotation of Geno Atkins, Pat Sims, Devon Still and Domata Peko.

Mohamed Sanu, WR, 6-1, 211, Rutgers

With the fourth pick the Bengals might of have picked A.J. Green partner, as they drafted Mohamed Sanu of Rutgers. Mr. Sanu had 115 catches last season with Rutgers, which is a Big East single season record. He only ran a 4.66 on his 40 yard dash, which seems a little slow for a WR. Sanu reminds me a lot of, dare I say? Hines Ward. That bald headed motha fucker.

Brandon Thompson, DT, 6-2, 314, Clemson

I don't think anyone is complaining about this pick. I thought the Bengals might of have selected a LB, FS or SF with the fifth pick. I will be honest, I like Brandon Thompson more than Devon Still, I think Thompson is a little more athletic than Still and being a little shorter helps with his low center of gravity. The guys was killing it at the NFL combine with 36 bench press reps. He will be a nice addition to the D-line rotation, as he can play both nose and defensive tackle. I also think this means less snaps for Peko.

Orson Charles, TE, 6-3, 251, Georgia

A TE  was one of the least needs for the Bengals so I was a little surprised by this pick. Maybe this pick was based on BPA (best player available). Either way the talks around the internet is, this kid is very athletic for a TE, kind of a Vernon Davis type. Jermaine Gresham is no doubt the starter, but Orson will be in the mix for the second TE spot with Colin Cochart and Donald Lee. Will the Bengals go with a double TE system like New England?

Shaun Prater, CB, 5-10, 190, Iowa

The Bengals drafted another CB with the 7th pick. Is this another BPA or something else? With lot of aging veterans on the roster, there is nothing wrong with picking up a young CB. I would imagine Shaun Prater will have a hard time finding any kind of playing times, unless it's on special teams.

Marvin Jones, WR, 6-2, 199, California

The Bengals selected another WR. This time Marvin Jones our of Cal. Some had him as a second round prospect. Either way the Bengals are stockpiling depth, which is something they have lacked in past years. There seems to be a closet full of WR's that will be fighting for the last few spots on the depth chart. I wouldn't count Jones out for that spot opposite A.J. Green

George Iloka, S, 6-4, 225, Boise State

Drum roll please, FINALLY the Bengals select a safety. Sure he looks for like a LB than a safety, that is why he reminds me of Robert Sands from last years draft. I just wished the Bengals would of have drafted a safety in the earlier round.

Dan "Boom" Herron, RB, 5-10, 213, Ohio State

First time in a long, long time the Bengals have drafted a kid out of Ohio State. With the final pick, the Bengals select a RB. With the departure of Cedric Benson and signing of BenJarvus Green-Ellis, it will be tough to break into the RB rotation. Brian Leonard and Bernard Scott is not going anywhere. So it will be down to Cedric Peerman and Dan Herron. I know Herron has the skill, not only running the balls, but also catching the balls our of the back.

Well there you have it, all of the Bengals 2012 draft picks. Fuck, that was long as list.
So what do you think? Did the Bengals do good? Did they miss a position?

In my mind they could of drafted a LB, and that's exactly what they did right after the draft was over, when they Signed Vontaze Burfict as an undrafted free agent.

Burfict who was once projected as a 1st or 2nd round pick. There are many reason he went undrafted, most has to do with his shitty showing at the ASU Pro day and at the NFL combine and his bad attitude. Either way, once you punch in Vontaze Burfict into Youtube, the highlights keep on coming. Is he that gem everyone overlooked? I hope so.

I give this draft either an A+ or an A. It was that damn good.

2012 Cincinnati Bengals Jersey By Nike

Bengals_uniform_display_image

Yeah, I know I'm like a month late on this. So here it is, the new Bengals jersey by Nike. So my first impression is, well it looks kind of like last years jersey. I don't see much of a change. But the closer I look, I can see all the minor design changes that Nike has made. Which overall, makes the jersey looks more smooth and streamlined. Sure, there is a bunch of technical details to the jersey that makes it more lightweight, but who cares about that crap.
In the end, no one will mistake the Bengals jersey for another teams jersey. I just wish they had done something with that helmet.

Every Time My Poop Comes Out A Little Darker

Breast Implants Divide Bengals Locker Room

No, no I'm not talking about Andre Smith. I'm talking about the Ben-Gals. According to the oldest cheerleader in history Laura Vikmanis, the locker room is divided by girls with real melons and bolt on's.
"The most prominent division on the Ben-Gals is not between the young girls and the older girls but between the Real Boobs and the Fake Boobs," she told the Cincinnati Enquirer

I know for a fact my girl @alysonjordan is on the natural side of things. Don't worry, I pledge to make it my life's work, to bring unity and togetherness to this locker room. But strictly as a man, I have to say, who give a shit, it's all about the ass anyway. Until they start getting butt implants, I don't give a shit.

Tyler Perry's House of Payne Doesn't Suck

There has been only two sitcoms based of Black family that I have enjoyed watching. First was Family Matters and the second was Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Now there might be a third one.

Tyler Perry's House of Payne is pretty damn hilarious. But on the other hand Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns is a dumb fucking show, and I have no idea why the re-runs are still on TV. Sure both show got a loud Black father, but for some reason it only works on House of Payne and not Meet The Browns.

Asian Girl Can't Take A Footlong

I can't believe this part of the Subway commercial hasn't been gif'd to death. I mean clearly she looks like she can't take a footlong. It looks like a scene from some porn flick. Little Asian girl freaking out 'cause she saw a big black dong.

Reason For Jeremy Lin's Popularity

I don't know what to say about Jeremy Lin that hasn't already been said. But I will say this, the one major reason he is getting so much attention is because he is of different race. I will give you an example, there is a guy in NY that was an undrafted free agent, who lead his team to a Super Bowl win. I guarantee he ain't getting this much love from the media. Sure the huge interest in Lin is generated from overseas especially from Taiwan, and China. But the American media also plays a part in it.

Alex Morgan poses in bodypaint for SI

Finally the Gods have heard our prayers. Sure Hope Solo in ESPN Body magazine issue was a nice treat for U.S. soccer fans, but this is what we all really wanted.
You know most guys watch the women's soccer games just see this pretty face run around and score goals.

Those Darn Pot Smokers

Millions and millions of people around the country and world wants to decriminalize marijuana and make it legal.
But the U.S. being the way it is, always does things backwards. For someone reason lawmakers always think weed is somehow much worse than alcohol. Anyone and everyone with an ounce of sense knows that's not true. Study after study has found marijuana not only to be non dangerous, but actually has tons of medicinal value. Anyway here is a stat from 2009 that might tickle you. And I'm sure much hasn't changed in the past few years.

Anyway my point is, isn't it time to get this shit legalized so all of us can enjoy it?

The Cheerleader vs The Blogger: Super Bowl Picks

The divisional playoffs was some of the best football of the season. So, I'm hoping the Super Bowl exceeds my expectations. I think the Giants can easily win this game. Not only do they have a very good, and fast defense their offense can put up some points. I believe Tom Brady will struggle vs. the Giants defense as he did against the Ravens D.

Bengals 2012 NFL Draft Picks

Guess what folks? The Super Bowl has not even been played but hundreds of mock drafts are already out.
Tonight I'm bored and I need something to post about. So lets talk some NFL draft.
Don Banks of SI has done his mock draft for the fist round, and with the 17th pick the Bengals select.

ZING!!

Anyway, I like the pick of Trent Richardson, since I highly doubt Cedric Benson will be back, as he is a free agent. I'm just not sure if he still be available at #17. I know RB's are not highly drafted as QB's, and some other positions. So there is a good chance he might still be there.
Another RB choice could be Doug Martin out of Boise St.

And with the 21st pick the Bengals select.

While I like the idea of picking a CB at this spot I'd rather spend it on a good OL or an interior DT. After looking at his stats nothing really pops out at me. Plus he was only selected as a second team all Big 12. I know none of these things matter at the next level. Another CB's that could be selected by the Bengals in the later rounds is Casey Hayward out of Vandy.

The Cheerleader vs The Blogger: NFL Picks Conference Championship

There was some great games during the divisional playoffs. I the back of my mind I had a feeling the 49ers could stop the Saints but I had no clue that Alex Smith would be balling out of control. In the other upset it was pretty evident that the Giant could easily upset the Packers. Just good running game and great defense.
So what will we get during the Conference Championship games

Conference Championship:

Cincinnati Bearcats beat UConn Huskies With Late 3 Pointer

Usually I don't write stuff about Bearcats basketball. That's because I'm a one man show and I don't have time. So I will shamelessly ask, if any of you out there are interested in writing about Bearcats or Reds to contact me.

OK, let's get back to the game. Sean "killa" Kilpatrick with a 3-point dagger to beat UConn with 2.5 seconds left.
They took UConn's best punch in the second half, but that didn't keep 'em down. They bounced right back with their own punch. I'll be honest I was a little worried at the end when they kept missing them FT's and UConn kept knocking down 3's.

Anyway, I'm ready for the WV Mountaineers game. Then on to the undefeated 'Cuse to get crushed but the Cats.

The Cheerleader vs The Blogger: NFL Picks Divisional Playoffs

Well the wild card weekend sucked for the Bengals nation. Just got dominated by the Texans.
And Tebow magic continues to shine. So what upset holds this weekend? I'm going with the Giant over Packers. Both teams are playing great football,  but I'm going with the underdog.

Week 18 Picks:

Bengals Get Bounced By The Texans. Now What?

The Bengals got their ass kicked by the Texans in the wild card game. Sure it was embarrassing and frustrating to watch the way they played. But, like most Bengals fan, I'm not crying myself to sleep because, we all feel like they overachieved. And anytime the Bengals makes the playoffs it feels like we have already won th Super Bowl.
Sure the critics will say the Bengals only beat one team with a winning record..blah blah blah...but you know what they beat the teams they needed to beat to get where they need to get.

Anyway, there isn't much to yap about the actually game versus Texans. But let us look forward to the next season.

Just like last season, I would like to see a coaching change. Sure Marvin got the Bengals to the playoffs but I have seen enough. It seems like it might be time for some fresh faces. If Mike Brown is serious about Cincinnati football he will pull the trigger. I know it's a long shot but Mike has been on a roll all season long. So for me firing Marvin would be the cherry on top.

If Marvin isn't let go, can we get rid of the offensive line coach? Paul has been around here way too long. Which takes me to my next point. The O-Line needs help, Bengals needs to draft some good talent. If Dalton can get some time in the pocket he will be able to make the throws.

After seeing Chris Crocker and Adam Jones get played like dummies, the Bengals needs to address the secondary issues either by the draft or free agency. They also needs to get a running back through the draft. There is a good chance they can address both of those issues with the 17th (Trent Richardson) and 21st pick (Dre Krickpatrick or Stephon Gilmore).

The Cheerleader vs The Blogger: NFL Picks Wild-Card Weekend

The last week of the NFL season is behind us and your boy has taken home the regular season  title with a 49-36 overall record. It wasn't easy to beat the cheerleader but I did it.
Now it's time for post season. I have all the faith in the world that the Bengals will win their first playoff game in over two decades. Hate me for this, but I have picked the Shitburg Steelers over Timmy "Jesus"  Tebow. God help us all.

Week 18 Picks:

The Bengals Lose To The Ravens But Still Makes The Playoffs

This holiday season has been good to Cincinnati sports teams. The Bengals lost to the Ravens but still made the playoffs. The Bearcats beat Vanderbilt in the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl, and the men's Basketball team beat Pitt Panthers.
The Bengals have been in the playoffs two of the past three years. That's not so bad for a shitty franchise. Now it's time to win a playoff game. And they have a good chance to accomplish that task when they play the Texans.
Did anyone really think the Bengals would make the playoffs with a rookie QB and a first year Offensive Coordinator? I know I didn't. The only man in Cincinnati that did know was Lance McAlister.
I know the national media has been licking Cam Newtons balls all year long and he probably will win the ROY award but that just a damn shame, because Andy "red riffle" Dalton deserves it.

Thanks to my favorite Ben-gals cheerleader @AlysonJordan for the picture and playing The Cheerleder vs The Blogger 2011 NFL picks with me this year.
